I love swimming against the current, it is one of my greatest talents, and one of my greatest flaws. Last year my parents seperated and everything i wrote was hurt and confused, but I feel that I have over come that and now I write almost a little too perky! Nolon, I have read some of your work and it rocks! Silent siren, I love your work to! And i realy value both of your opinions!
Thank you!

Hello to all!
Here is another batch of poetry! Love your comments!
Sarah Elaine

Good Morning

Today is the first day of all the rest to come,
And even if you lost today in the end you'll still have won

Life is not a race you see,
But a simple walk on the beach

It's not the destination that counts so much,
But what we learn to teach.

Sunrise
Moon.
Glowing orb illuminating a night sky,
Stars.
Heated spheres of passion slinking slowly across the heavens,
All washed away.
In a sea of color,
Ambition and apprehension paint the countryside.
Sunrise

How are you?

How am I today?
I shimmer
I radiate with light from within
My aura glows so bright
I shine like a star

Fleeting,
Flying,
Soaring high above those below

Floating
Free
Upon the open sea

Into the heavens
Dance among the stars
Reaching
So close, but so far

Shh!
Listen
Hear me sing
Out into the open my voice, it rings.
