I'm trying to find (or recall) a poem my mom used to recite. It's about a little lost girl...
"I'm losted. Can you find me please?"
I stooped and lifted her with ease
and gently whispered "Maybe..
"But tell me your name, my little one
"I cannot find you without it."
"My mommy never scolds" she moans
"Except when I've been a'frowing stones
"And then she says" (the culprit owns)
"Mehitabel Saphira Jones, what has you been a'doin'???"
Obviously, trying to fill in the something somethings...
