I once read this poem in World Book Encyclopedia's "Childcraft" How/where can I find the verses. Thank you

William Jay Smith (who must be aged about 90 if still alive) published his humorous verse for children in an anthology titled "Laughing Time: Collected Nonsense" in 1955, and it may contain a poem with a corresponding title.

The anthology was so popular, it was revised or at least reprinted up to 1990. It may still be in print, but if not, a good library with a children's book section should have it.
