Monologue "I'm only a simple kitchen maid"

This is a maid dreaming of a visit from the Prince of Wales, Prince Edward and probably ends / contains "kiss me Ted." Heard in the 1940's.

Good catch, Linda.

I looked for it by Googling "scullery". Should have thought of "scull'ry"!

The way monologues mutate through recitation, maybe dplusm heard a version with "Kiss me, Ted" instead of "Yes! Teddy dear".

Ian

Not much of a catch I'm afraid, I have that monologues site bookmarked. It makes for a fun read.
