old worn out bible

I am searching for a poem about a family bible that sat on a coffee table. The bible was obviously worn out, the binding cracked, the pages yellowed, the corners bent and banged up. At the end of the poem it makes you realize that a bible that has been that well used, turned to in times of need, has all the names of all the children born into the family recorded, this bible would be more of a treasure than any fancy, shiny, new bible that might be left out to maybe impress someone else with the "newness" of the bible. It was an incredible poem with no known author, and I wasn't sure where to look online for it since I don't know exactly the wording of the title. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thank you for your time.

Possibly this one - but it isn't online, and it's on a shelf, not a coffee table. [www.lancashire.gov.uk] />
Less likely - this
The Family Bible
With in these pages,
brittle with time
lie remnants of
a family.

The passage of rites.
The passing of life.
The beginning of life.
Answers to prayers said
by feverish lips.
The thorny stems of love.
The whispered answers
to prayers.
Dog-eared truth to lies
that were harbored.
A log of those who
briefly passed by.
Erasure marks of wrongs
made right.
The imprints of little
fingers and small hands.
The fingerprints of
generations passed.
The last will and testament
of the sole, living survivor.

Memories bleed from the
pages as she closes her
eyes to the past!

It is done now.
She is the last!
