My husband was so impressed with the quick response and help with my previous post he asked if I could post a request from a poem, about a cat, he first read about 55 years ago. He thinks it was in the Saturday Evening Post but is not sure. He only remembers a couple of lines from the poem. They are:
"Parked by the doorstep, idling, humming,
Headlights shining, (and) motors running."
Any help would be appreciated.
