Today I just foundout my grandma only has a few weeks left to live, she has alstimers. She used to summer school me when i was in second grade and she taught me this poem. Im not sure if i have all the words.

They call them pussy willows but theres not a cat to see
except there furry little toes that stick out from the tree
every spring it worries me it seems i can not find
thoughs pussy cats that ran away and left there toes behind.

*she may have wrote it but I am pretty sure she didn't.

They call them pussy-willows,
But there's no cat to see
Except the little furry toes
That stick out on the tree:
I think that very long ago,
When I was just born new,
There must have been whole pussy-cats
Where just the toes stick through----
And every Spring it worries me,
I cannot ever find
Those willow-cats that ran away
And left their toes behind!
