This is a query from the QUOTE-UNQUOTE website. Looks like a job for eMule!

Where in Louis MacNeice do these lines occur? "Or will one’s wife also belong to that country / And can one never find the perfect stranger?"

I don't have Macneice's CP handy, but I think it's from Autumn Journal. It'll take a long time to find the exact stanza, though...
