I am trying to remember a poem that goes something like -
it doesn't matter how much money I had
it doesn't matter what kind of car I drove etc
it only matters that I was important in the life of a child -
if anyone knows this poem and can help me I will be forever grateful. I am trying to use it for xmas gifts. Thanks.

This one?

What Matters?

It doesn't matter what kind of car you drove,
But it does matter how many people you drove who didn't have transportsportation.
It doesn't matter the square footage of your house,
But it does matter how many people you welcomed into your home.
It doesn't matter about the clothes you had in your closet,
But it does matter how many you helped to clothe.
It doesn't matter about your social status;
It does matter what kind of class you displayed.
It doesn't matter how many material possessions you had,
But it does matter if they dictated your life.
It doesn't matter what your highest salary was,
But it does matter if you compromised your character to obtain it.
It doesn't matter how much overtime you worked,
But It does matter if your overtime work was for yourself or for your Family.
It doesn't matter how many promotions you received,
But it does matter how you promoted others.
It doesn't matter what your job title was,
But It does matter if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
It doesn't matter what you did to help yourself,
But it does matter what you did to help others.
It doesn't matter how many friends you had,
But it does matter how many people to whom you were a friend.
It doesn't matter what you did to protect your rights,
But it does matter what you did to protect the rights of others.
It doesn't matter in what neighborhood you lived,
But it does matter how you treated your neighbors.
It doesn't matter about the color of your skin,
But it does matter about the content of your character.
It doesn't matter how many times your deeds matched your words,
But it does matter how many times they didn't.
