My 90 year old father won an award in grade school for reciting this poem but I've never been able to find it. It goes something like:
Old Bossy had a calf last night
His hair is curly, soft and white.
He has brown hair and eyes of blue.
I like blue eyes best, don't you?
Daddy says the calf is mine
If I can keep him looking fine
And feed him every single day
His corn and oats and wheat and hay.
Any help in locating this poem before Dad passes on, would be greatly appreciated!
I don't believe there are any "bossy" cow poems around here. Check around your house, there may be one in the back yard. Or better yet, look here:
