I was wondering if any one can help me, When i was a child my grandfather used to read me a certian poem and i loved it. unfortunately i can only remember pieces of that poem. About a year ago, my grandfather passed and i cannot find the poem any where. What i can remember of the poem is that its about a boy, who is wondering a path. he is dressed unusually and seems to be getting nowhere even though he is walking along a path. The path is rather twisty and wynds through a dark forrest. The boy continues to walk and reaches a crossroad which hae has passed before on many occasions. The poem goes on and it reveals that is boy is actully dead, and has been walking for hundreds of years without knowing it.

I really do love this poem and would be very greatful if anyone can give me any information on it at all.

Thanking you in advance

Miss Amy Smith

Amy, what pieces of the poem can you remember? Any lines or exact phrases or words used?
