I am looking for the poem that contains the lines about returning to where we had started. I don't remember the author. Thanks! Gail

"In my end is my beginning" from East Coker by T S Eliot?
It's a constant theme all the way through the four quartets.

If these are the lines you are looking for:

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

they are the beginning of the last stanza or part of 'Little Gidding', the 4th of T.S.Eliot's 'Four Quartets'
