Artist betrayed by his love

This poem is from the perspective of an artist whose young mistress is leaving to spend time with her "cousin"- he tries to talk her into leaving the country and staying in a cottage somewhere while he paints?sculpts? may have had a benefactor mentioned, and at the end he tells her to "go quickly"- reminded me of the mindset of Christ telling Judas "what you do, do quickly." it was very sad and tender, left the impression that he was older than her. It had a dark, melancholy feel to it. probably a classical poem, may have been in "Riverside Anthology" which was loaned to a classmate of my son and never returned. I think the author used three names....
