She even thinks that up in heaven
her class lies late and snores
While young black cherubs rise at seven
to do celestial chores

The author of this poem is Countee Cullen--the third line should read, while poor black cherubs rise at seven

I'm sorry, I omitted the title, it's For A Lady I Know. For my friend Les, it's Mr. Cullen.
