I am not sure this is the one ...
If I Ran the School
Megan Fletcher

Itís a pretty good school,
Said young Lancer lad,
And the folks who run it
Seem to be glad.

But if I ran the school,
Said young Lancer lass
Iíd make a few changes,
Iíd clean up this morass.

Look at changing the day,
combining the buses
The bathrooms and classrooms and that kind of stuff
They have up here now are not quite good enough.
You see things like these in just any old school.
We must improve ours to avoid playing the fool.

Then all of Brookfield will gasp, Why these kids never sleep!
Studying grammar and Spanish and French, Oh what hours they keep!
Thereís just no telling what these kids could manage to switch
And then, even better, work out every glitch.
Changing school days and bus ways and even the lunch trays.

Yes, Thatís just what I would change
Said young Lancer puípoolí
I would, all things, rearrange
If I ran the school.
