As owls and bats avoid the light,
Avoid the fault of being right,

Looking for the rest of the poem and author

It sounds a bit like ogden nash. No luck finding it though.

By the way, if you post something (like "still no luck?" for example) your old query goes back to the top. You have some more info here that might help.
