The Dash

My wife passed several years ago and the minister read a poem at the service that I can only remember as being called "The Dash". It talked about the most important thing on the head stone being "the dash" between the year of birth and the year of death. "The Dash" signified how the person spent their life. If anyone knows of this poem and how I could get my hands on it I would greatly appreciate it.
