What Good Did it Do... poem

My mom used to recite a poem to me as a child that began
"What good did it do when you frowned, let me ask". I'm looking for that poem in its entirety. It dates back at least 40 years, and probably more.

This reminds me, probably erroneously, of a poem which appeared on e-mule while ago about how getting upset about a doll being damaged wasn't very constructive, and how it should be used as a lesson in making the best of things. Not as prosy as I've made it sound, it wasn't a bad poem. Unfortunately I can't find it at the moment, but will keep looking and maybe my bletherings will spark of someone else's memory in the meantime.
