If this rings a bell with anyone, please help me find this poem. I believe the actual title is "My Father Belongs In The Sky", although it may deviate by a few words....such as "...To the Sky"...etc. This hung in my father's office, then his bedroom, until his recent death. He was a fighter pilot, retired military (40+ years), and the poem meant so very much to him. It was rolled and placed alongside him for burial. None of us had the presence of mind to copy it. I have no idea of the author's name. Thank you.

Hi there,
My mother has a copy of this poem, which was one of my grandfather's favourites (as he was a piolet) and I was looking for it online to print when I came across your question. The author's name is Patrick O'Malley. I haven't been able to find it online, but I will post it for you when I get a copy from my mom. Hope that helps, maybe having the author's name will help you find it, but I couldn't!
Good luck!
