can you guys help me to find out
what is the significance of the can can in the story by arturo vivante?
2. does the wife do can can for her child or her husband?
3. what effect does the dance have on her husband?
4. what do the couple expect from each other in marriage? does each fulfill the other's expectations?
5. what does the can can symbolize in the story?
6. in the scene where the wife does the can can, how does the language reinforce the symbol?
7. What theme in the story is highlighted by the symbolic dance?

Feisya, these all sound like interesting questions, but I don't have a copy of and haven't read the Vivante story you refer to. Maybe some Emulers have done so and can help you.

You may not have realized that this forum is for assistance with poetry homework. We do sometimes stray into other areas, when teachers ask their students to relate particular poems to other forms of writing or to art works. Does that apply to you in this case?

Ian
