I need to write a profile on a famous person, friend, family member, or an historic figure, any of them dead or alive. Does anyone have any profiles that they would like to share with me to get me started because i just cant seem to get my brain working on this one!!

You'll find tons of stuff in the library, if not the net, on Napolean, Madonna, George Washington, Jefferson, and Martin Luther King, to name some people.

Pick a poet, and you might have posted your question in the right forum. Try looking for, for example, Elizabeth Barret Browning. Quite a romantic persona. Or one of the Bronte sisters maybe.

And I don't think anyone here has profiles lying around to share with you. Well, only if you're interested in a Curriculum Vitae of one of us, which might be a lot more boring than you're looking for ;-)

How about Edna St. Vincent Millay....from what i gather, she could read two poems simultaneously
