I am very much interested in poetry . I am now doing my MA degree in English poetry . The topic of my thesis is " The application of poetic elements and its revelance to the meaning of English poem " . I will be much happier if you help me with your advice and whatever you think is necessary to aid me in doing thesis.

You probably would have done better to start a separate thread for this, Ismail.

I don't understand the meaning of your thesis topic as you have quoted it. Did you choose the topic? If so, please can you clarify what you have in mind.

If this is the topic, then I think you need to narrow it a bit: The application of poetic elements and its revelance to the meaning of English poem.


In other words choose just a few of the elements of poetry, perhaps "metaphor", or "word play", etc.
