this might be a lil.. ok is off topic, but just wondering... same thing, it has something to do with the year 12 assessment where "you need 4 of your own original text" yadaydayda.... but I just thought about teh film "Forest Gump" that film just popped up into my head and I was just wondering... that has a heck of alot of physical journey but, I don't actually know how to convey it...
Because if I recall, Forest Gump was a person who just told his life storyto people of his journey, but, the question I ask lies in...

What was the characters point in telling of his past, what was his reason for his journey?
Did he reach his final destination?

I just remember forest gump and am just wondering about those question, and I actually can't answer them.... I know everyones most likely to recognise such a famous film.

btw.... this site is really helpful for all those people who are having difficulties in the resource folder assessment.

This site will help broaden your knowledge and understanding of what the syllabus is actually asking of you for all those lazy people who don't know of this site yet...

It's possible some people are aware of the site, it was listed here: [www.emule.com] />

There are many better films than Forest Gump which could be used to convey a physical journey topic.

1. Journey to the Center of the Earth
2. Back to the Future
3. Fantastic Voyage
4. Around the world in 80 days etc.

But forest gump is certainly an interesting idea. You can focus on the part where he just starts running, because he "just feels like it" and many people start to see him as a kind of messiah.

One of the things about Forest is that he follows his feelings, and doesn't bother thinking too much, while people seem to need a reason for everything they do. What he teaches people is that you don't. Sometimes there are no reasons. Or you can make up 20, but the actual reason you do something is because you feel like it. A journey back to basics, I would say.

Did he reach his final destination? Yes. He stopped when he didn't feel like running anymore.
