Comparing "To his coy mistress" and "A valediction forbidden mourning"

I need to compare Marvell's "To his coy mistress" and John Donne's "A valediction forbidden mourning."
I know both poems are metaphysical poems.
"To His coy mistress" is a carpe diem poem and uses syllogism.
What about "A valediction forbidden mourning?"
Is this poem use syllogism?

What are some similarities and dissimilarities of the two poems?
Thank you.

James
