I was asked to interpret Dylan Thomas's Never to Reach the Oblivious Dark, however i can't grasp to theme of the poem. Please help!

Makes no sense that I can fathom. Are we sure this is the right text? The lack of punctuation at the line ends makes it seem a list of poems, rather than a poem itself.
