The Labratory

I really like the poem "The Labratory" by Robert Browning and am planning to perform it for my upcoming speech arts exam. However, I cannot decide what happens in the end. Does he kill himself or go to kill his cheating girlfriend/wife(?)? I have tried to find analysis/commentary/meaning on the internet but have so far been unsuccessful. If anyone has any ideas/opinions/knowledge of what happens in this poem or knows of any sites that discuss it, and would like to share it, it would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks!

The wife kills her husband's lover.

Lots of discussion to be found right here on this site:
