Paradise Lost - John Milton

I have been asked to write an essay of literary analysis over the first six books of Pardise Lost. The topic can be over style, language device, philosophy, tone, theme, etc. If you have any ideas or comments PLEASE let me know. I'm having trouble piecing together a strong thesis. Thanks.

I'm reading Paradise Lost right now for my english class. I am only through Book 9. Up until 6, you have not actually gotten to the "fall" part yet, but there is still plenty of stuff in there that Milton is getting at, but yea, sounds like a tough assignment. I recommend this site that I always check out before class to keep me on my toes:
