According to Wordsworth why the child is the father of the man? Anything more poem to support this besides the Ode of Intimation of Immortality? help me please...............sad smiley(

Another interesting apparent contradiction is 'the bird is on the wing' from the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam. The wing is obviously on the bird, but this is a delicious way of saying that tempus is fugiting.
