hi, i have to write an essay on the following question:
'I am youre owene love and youre wyffe' (Wife of Bath's Tale, 1091). Discuss Chaucer's presentation of the ideal married woman in any 2 or 3 of The Canterbury Tales.
The tales that we have been studying are Merchant's, Clerk's, Wife of Bath's and 2nd Nun's Tales.
Can anyone help? Thanx!

If memory serves, Chaucer thought 'unfaithful wife' was redundant.
