hey.. i have to write a shakesperean sonnet by tommorow...and im really having trouble, which im sure you can tell since i don't think i'm even spelling shakesperean right...but thats not the point! the point is, does anyone have any non-web submitted shakesperean sonnets written by themselves, that i could have? i know its cheating, but i really need help on this, i have a history and science project due tommorow too...i put things off, what can i say, but im a straight A student and i wouldnt ask for help like this unless i really needed it! so please, if anyone is willing to share one of their shakesperean sonnets written by them with me, please AIM me at gigisays2u, or send an email to washington_girl@gmail.com.. thankyou!
Here you go:
Reflection on Shakespeare's Sonnet 43
How could I not retreat from such a night?
I am without the requisite of love.
When night's depression is so grieved by fright,
and gray in flight in light from stars above.
And though an enemy of nightime shows
with constant ache in sight to punish me,
I think about the evening's dim glow
which brings about a faint refrain from thee.
I tell the night to bring about a pleasure bright,
and wish that I might leave without a trace,
so I could breathe the air and see true light.
But God is hiding in the dimness of all space
and thither can he hear a lone soul's plea;
who sings, but lacks a single note of glee.

Not bad. The scan is a bit bumpy in spots, but interesting nevertheless. Here is the real one for comparison:

Should the student be caught in this deception, of course all here will disavow any knowledge of the posting.
