So when we were discussing Joyce in my British Lit. class a few weeks (months?) ago, I wrote down "perspective" but nothing else that would explain to me - now that I have finals coming up - what "perspective" meant in relation to Joyce. We read "The Dead" and an excerpt from Finnegan's Wake - which I hope to never have to do again since it gave me a headache trying to figure out the meaning of it all - only to discover that I wasn't meant to understand it in the first place. (I'm also very good with not understanding the meaning of postmodern works, which I've discovered is actually the point). So if someone can clarify what I must have been thinking when I wrote down "perspective," it will, as always, be greatly appreciated!
Sorry for the rambling...I broke my ankle the other day and haven't been getting out much!
