If it is possible, i was looking for some help with any different meanings for Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's "The Fire of Driftwood". Any help at all would be appreciated.

Interesting. Why the change in the pattern in the forelast paragraph?
The poem is about a conversation between friends in the evening. It is a sort of goodbye party and that influences the conversation. He continues by making a comparison with shipwrecks. They loose contact with the shore.
Quite negative in a way. How are you doing? Came up with anything yet?
Right, the memories flare up much as the driftwood does. I suspect the krkr rhymes were merely coincidental, not planned as such.
