I am trying to find a Longfellow poem that has the following phrase in it.
while their companions slept they were toiling upward in the night.
I could be wrong about the author.....someone said it was part of "The Builders" but I found that poem and the phrase is not in it. I am hitting a wall with this one.
Note to self: read other forums before responding, in case the question has been posted multiple times by overzealous seekers.
