I read that Kelly's was the fourth.. and I wondered,, then I spotted this one. You are doing a lot of work Les. but it is appreciated.
I have enjoyed all four of your picks. and all of what they write.

Les!! I am speechless, and flattered beyond belief! I'm over here laughing with the biggest grin on my face! Not even kidding, my jaw is on the floor. Les.. thank you!

Hey Les,
Not to self-promote or anything, but there's one other.. "Permets-moi de t'aimer." Here's a long link, cuz I don't know how to do the little 'tiny url' thing.

Lady, your poem should be there now. Here's a link to those short links pages: just cut and paste your long link in the slot and these sites will make it a short link.

I think you and I started about the same time Lady. I must say that I agree with Les, that you show a wisdom and maturity beyond your years.
Have enjoyed reading your poems, now I can catch up on a couple I missed.

Good thing I'm around to negate any maturity that Lady has !

Thanks, Les. I shall enjoy the fruits of your labor. You are providing an invaluable service, as well as demonstrating why this site keeps me coming back.

I vote for an Anthology of Jay's work. Thank you for adding that, Les.
Thank you as well, JP, for the compliment

Lady, though I enjoy Jay's work, you probably won't see it. Why? I'm drawing the line at people who still post poems here now, June 2004, and were here before June 2003.
Les
Damn, just missed it by a month. Always a bridesmaid...
Ah, I see. Good idea, as it would include those who've been here a substantial period of time and are STILL active. I much like that idea! He posted on my.. 'Everything you Are' piece, but I haven't seen a POEM of his, you're right.
I stand corrected.

Nice idea, Les. May I suggest including some of Meg's crits as well? She's a pretty good critic, you know.
On the topic of an Anthology of my stuff, I must say I'm flattered. Would it renew my 'membership' if I were to post a new piece?
Jay
Jay, I'm going to try to get to as many as I can here. The only real limitation is time. There isn't enough time to do all the anthologies I'd like to do. The anthologies have nothing to do with the quality of the work, by the way. It's just a list of poems by people who I feel have contributed to the success of the website.

Why don't the links work anymore? I need my poems...

Lady, type in the name of the individual poem under the search feature above.
Why don't the links work? Good question, perhaps Rudy or Aaron could answer that for you. I do not know.
Les
Thx

You'll find that now the bottom link as well as all the links to your poems are working. Newer poems which were not listed at the time this list was compiled can be found by searching through your posts on the last link.

Thanks Les

The links are working Les, thank you.

You're very welcome Lady.
The reason the process takes so long is that some people, such as Terry, Bruce and myself have over 100 pages of 30 posts per page to go through.
My goal in replacing the old links is to give myself and newer readers a chance to go back and read, or reread, some of these poems.
Les
I just want to give a very deep thanks to Les for all of the work and time and he put into getting these anthologies together. This anthology holds the only (accessible) copy of a lot of my work and is therefore invaluable. Deep thanks also to the people behind the scenes that keep such old posts and threads on the server. I'll be printing them out again so as to have my own copy, but in the meantime... thanks

I agree. Les, your work is very much appreciated and it's amazing seeing this site alive, even if it's barely breathing. I'm really enjoying going through these anthologies. Also, I must say I'm especially happy to find Megan's. I've always enjoyed her poems and at time when I was a young[er] writer, I really admired and looked up to her work. So thanks Les, and also thank you Meg.
