her secrets in a stare
a cloudless, beautiful facade.
sole broken guard

the pieces scattered,
& greedily placed-
within a blue velvet box.
self sealed,
not since touched-
tired & undreamed,
she waits...

Damn it. I thought wicked was back. Where's she been anyway?
I don't know Percival, my last contact via Private Message was 9/20/05.

Well tell her to come back, we need more poets of that quality. =]
we need more poets of that quality
True, we can never have too many quality poets.
Les
how odd that nobody commented on this when it was written.
very good.
Decat
Decat, each of us has his/her favorites. I often hear forum members lament the fact that no one has read one of his/her friend's poems, yet someone who has few friends and little time to post comments on the USP often goes unread. Wicked is but one example.
Les
damn it all to hell...I thought,
nay hoped,
wicked was back...bummer!
Good poem to bump.
