The Seven Views
one
Kafka
on a sunny day
the toy on the stairs
two
two hummingbird eggs
or is it three?
in a hand-painted nest
three
the heat
in the evening alone
four
how can you calculate
the silence
after the explosion?
five
no wish to escape
sniffles
hay fever
bend once
six
that mountain
has aged
downward
seven
zero illumination
be generous
to the darkness

I feel a soft comforting even calming vibe...I truly enjoyed this poem
Hey man,, you're getting better, I really liked and understood this one... perchance, I've opened a bit.... nah.. to consertive to change.. you've gotten better.. silence after an explosion was for many years a way of life for me. I truly understand that view. continue my friend of many contridictions.
Lol Terry.
Agree with Gwyd, Peter; soothing, but then I have always like the dark.
even conservatives can change, Terry...after all I supported Diem in 1962 and the bay of pigglets...duh.
I only feel I get a little better maybe once a week, though.
amo et avanti,
Peter
Heard that back then Bobbie got a suit back from the cleaners, in the pocket he found a note,, said,,"Bobbie, don't forget air cover for the bay of pigs,,, signed Jack"
