my imagination's salvation
is found on the waves of shore
and in buttercups shadowed yellow.
bees that buzz and the sun to scent,
like perfume on a red rose
beckoning my nose.
the old man in the moon
winks at dolphins gleaning
plankton and a sailboat glides on by.
driving turtle chariots around
a thimble coliseum in my purple
tweed hat and white scarf.
surfing navel lint to
throw to the wind for the world
to behold because, I have
salvation,
found in the realms of
my imagination.
good for you.
A good read. My favorite part:
driving turtle chariots around
a thimble coliseum in my purple
tweed hat and white scarf
