It's not Right, You've Got to Fight

It's true it isn't right,
and you need to take a stand and fight.

Even if they all hate you and detest you,
you know they'll never best you.

Have confidence in yourself and make this life your own,
maybe one day you'll look back and see what you've been shown.

You'll remember and you'll be smiling,
remembering and not reviling.

Some call it the future and make a bet,
I call it the past you may or may not have yet.

I don't want to cause you any pain or any hurt,
because you've had enough of that you've been treated like dirt.

I want to make your life better,
not be just another restraining fetter.

We can do it together,
turning a mountain to a feather.

Shake off all your burdens and throw them away,
sleep easy now, tomorrow's another day.

No problem, Pearl. It has to do with the arrow sign. Nothing to do with the poem.

Les

The arrow sign on the bottom row of your typewriter keyboard. On my posts those arrows do not appear.

May I ask what arrow sign you are talking about?
