the sun comes to a point on a leaf
and it reminds me of nothing
but when it brings to light my flaws
it reminds me of a spotlight
set on high and burning fiercly
so very bright and a little too near me
it see's me,knows who i am and what i do
and it knows that this is of no importance
my mind is full
but my stomach is empty
and im hungry for whats in yours
when you take off your face at night
and you look at the base in the mirror
do you see what you want
or a canvass
it just keeps getting thinner
the bone and the muscle hold it together
the sun bleaches and drys out the cover
and the world just wants to see more
so take off your clothes
and take off your face
show me your ribs
and stick out your tongue
i'll take out your stitches
if you like my wounds
and if you want to see flowers
you have to wait for the blooms
this one ROCKS. I love it.
You'd be amazed at what gems lie in the caverns of the 'mule.
