Do you like metal?
GET THIS!

RELEASED

If anyone had told you
the world was full of sinners
liars, they say they love you
but they don't do
no, they don't really do

You would have rejected
to be born at all
but you have neglected
all evils, erected your head
your stubborn head

KILL YOUR MEMORIES
WASH OUT THE PAINS
DREADFUL SINNER
CHILD OF LONELY NIGHTS
BURNOUT YOUR FEARS
YOU SHALL BE
released
released
released...

Nobody had ever thought
you could fly, if you wished
they say it is naught
and you have been caught
in their eyes
in their lies

You're running down silent streets
searching for a place to go
losing lyric paper sheets
going where heaven meets
lost souls from earth
lost souls from earth

KILL YOUR MEMORIES
WASH OUT THE PAINS
DREADFUL SINNER
CHILD OF LONELY NIGHTS
BURNOUT YOUR FEARS
YOU SHALL BE
released
released
released...

So what about all your dreams
they're scattered into pieces
helplessly lying araound, it seems
everything you loved were dreams
nothing more
no, nothing more

I say don't believe them
and hold up your head
push your way through prejudices
don't trust the liars,
be what you want to be

I'm your friend - if you wish, I'm your friend

KILL YOUR MEMORIES
WASH OUT THE PAINS
DREADFUL SINNER
TAKE OFF, BLUEBIRD, FLY
RISE HIGH'R THAN THE SKY
AND YOU'LL BE
FINALLY

released
released
released
released
released...

That is very good Siren,

Your multi faceted talents just never cease to amaze me...some record label should be knocking on your door any day now with a million dollars in hand.

Keep up the good work?

um...does it read as well in German (Deutsch)?

Er. Have you ever heard German rock songs? Don't try. I can cope with Hiphop and Xavier Naidoo, that's sufficient.

Nina; Ninety Nine Luft Balloon.

That is one of my favourite all time songs. Unlike most, it isn't pedantic and like all of the songs that I am drawn to, it has content in the lyrics. A certain ballad like quality that is still in place in some modern music, but not in many.

um...the short answer would be yes...blushes with embarassment

P.S.: I'm just listing up the really good poems on this site to extract them for my not-connected friend, and I only can see your name once, that is, with "Ma fille"! Hey, what about that Canada poem you promised me? winking smiley

Ma Fille is my only poem on here to date, and I just finished working 34 hours in the last two days...so I am pretty uninspired at the moment I am afraid, but I will try and come up with something in the next two days.

If you wish a sample of my poetry, you can find it at: www.angelfire.com/goth/amorphousbeing/other/Brucefur
That is the site that has published my poetry book online. Unfortunately it is under construction, and therefore some of my best ones aren't available yet...well, that's just my opinion anyway. Nutmeg has the whole thing...maybe if you asked VERY nicely she might send it to you; seeing as how she has never bothered to read any of them :-P

the links are listed on the left hand sidebar.
