Appreciations in Advance

(For Angelito)

Thank you, my love, for letting me breathe;
For showing me I can start again.
You've endured all the trials and tribulations of our love--
The pendulum of myself, the fear of my heart.

Through hard work, trust, and love,
And a leap of faith,
We've made it this far--
'Tis our wedding day.

;-) Barf bag, where is the barf bag!?

Sorry, don't know what came over me there....

Actually, it is sweet and quaint, if perhaps overly hallmark.

Love,
Brucefur

PS: Congratulations :-P

I miss a metrum if you choose to write it that way. Content very fine.

I think it is a good thing to feel toooo sweet sometimes. At times, we all feel too dark, too sad---too sweet is better!

Lol, thanks guys -- not you, Bruce! You're mean, I hate you!! tongue sticking out smiley Siren, what did you mean by "I miss a metrum"? lgreen, I did feel I was writing a little too sweetly for myself. I tend to write poems more from a mental state, usually that of my pain and so forth. I'm not very good at being sweet, lol.

Anyways, thanks guy!! smiling smiley

(Bruce, you say ONE word to "Seiken" about this and I'll kill you!!)

Now Dear,
that was exactly the wrong thing to say! You know that I have to tell him now, anything else would just be dishonest ;-P

I agree with 1green, there is too much sadness in the world already; I am glad that you are sweet and sensitive. I wouldn't have you any other way.

I am guessing here, but I think Siren means either Meaning, or Metre rather than metrum.

Love,
Brucefur

Sigh...me German greenhorn. Thanks, Brucefur, I meant metre. Specially in 2nd verse. But reading it over again, I see that you can let it also stand there the way it is.
Greetings

Pam -

Ain't married yet tongue sticking out smiley Cept in Holy Macaroni (in case it doesn't work out)

Brucefur -

I hate you. Lol, j/k. Just felt like saying that due to all we've argued over for the last few days!! Lol. No, I feel that I must join you in searching for the barf bag. I'm not an overly sugary-sweet person...okay, I'm never sugary-sweet. I don't normally write love poems. I write poems about my state of mind, my emotions, my feelings, etc. etc., the things that drive me. The love that I feel for someone is not nearly so "concrete" or rather, doesn't have the potential of being "concrete" enough for me to write about, so it comes out all...fluffy wrinkles nose Lol.

Blech, isn't there a way to get this thing off the board?!? Lol, ohhhhhhh the mistakes we make sometimes! Bruce knows what I mean tongue sticking out smiley

Shuffles feet
Yes Siren I stand here duly chastised.
*note to self; "No more barf bag comments."

lol is internet slang, and stands for Laugh out loud.

One last thing regarding Barf Bags. They are the little paper bags that are provided in airliners for people who get airsick, but I think that they could eliminate them all together if they were to just improve the menu ;-)

Hi Bruce!
Lol - not 4 lots of love? (I'm improving as well!)
This critic is really the funniest on the USP, except of course "Ma Fille".
By the way, could you look up "Study in grey" once more? Milady wants a French translation...
Lol

Brucefur,
hereby we, Lady of the Night or the Femme du soir (your exact translation would be something like Madame de la nuit, by the way, I guess) declare both that we give up this useless struggle and write more poetry instead of wasting our energies on that.
Milady, if you agree, sign this treaty, s'il vous plait.
