After a couple of years of reading the poems posted here I finally decided to become a member. I have always enjoyed this site because of the talent and education expressed through a lot of the writing. It makes this site unlike a lot of them that I have been to. I do write a lot, however my own education and talent is very limited.I hope that no one minds that I will gain much more than I will be able to add here.

Education is not a requisite for writing poetry. And talent is such a subjective thing. Please post your poems; in the 9 years I've been a member, there have been very few comments posted that were designed to be hurtful. 99.9% are well-thought through reviews and critiques. I look forward to reading your work.
