Scribe my soul with
strong hands,
soft kisses,
sin-stained thoughts...
Judging me -
not by my tattered and imperfect cover,
but by the delicately sordid pages within.
Author of my most base desires,
pen my darkest secrets
on the depths of me;
compose the dark wants
I dare not script on my own.
Your annotations mark me...

Thank you. I do like this one.
I started it months ago, saved it to my Drafts folder in my email, and promptly forgot about it until last week. Probably just as well, as the first draft wasn't anywhere near what you see above.
A good bump! Is she back too?
Not yet Khalida, but I am working on it.
Oh, I love it! All of it, especially the last line. The last line in a poem is do important.
Ah, at last the Nutmeg shows her pretty face.
I will tell her you commented. She has one more poem on emule too, if you care to find it.
No need. I have been getting emails letting me know there are new comments here
Oh, don‘t look for the other one. If it‘s the one I‘m thinking of, it‘s awful, and should remain buried

I had forgotten what my signature was, but it certainly ties in nicely with my previous post!

I still like this piece, and, the point made by Montaigne is right on the mark re: old poems one would like to forget and much else.
amo et avanti,
