a Facial Expression on Productivity

One Step Closer

Revelations walk into talk
And just happen.

You step into yourself;
Take a stroll inside;
Find consumption there;
Tiptoe on imbalances
And stare.

Realizations take to walk
And simply rebel.

You leap into your life;
Rake fallen leaves;
Recreate green poise;
Tread into productivity
And contemplate.

Actions walk the walk
And manifest themselves.

You run into meaning;
Evade a stale past;
Stop the talk; start the walk;
Quickly pick up pace
And abandon the race.

Freedom is still an ideal,
But your one step closer!

I like this Khalida, especially the opening lines. This has a very philosophical tone, which is not like most of your work. Very nicely done.

I'd post the lyrics to The Ventures' Walk Don't Run, but it's an instrumental, so here's this:

Thanks a lot Les, Johnny and Red. I appreciate your comments. I wanted to reply earlier but I can only access the phorum form school which is when I am mostly busy! So I will try to keep up.

You run into meaning;
Evade a stale past;
Stop the talk; start the walk;
Quickly pick up pace
And abandon the race.

I like this stanza, K.Q.. There can be things that hold us back from joining what we see as a race, but is really life itself. I think there are times the obstacles are self-imposed, but certainly some things are beyond our control. Although running into meaning can be difficult and sometimes painful in its rawness, it is also what helps us jump off the merry-go-round and find our own momentum, whatever that might be.

Should >But your one step closer! (be you're?)

I like the sound of this K.Q.,

"You step into yourself;
Take a stroll inside;
Find consumption there;
Tiptoe on imbalances
And stare."
