New 12 part series with poet laureate Andrew Motion on BBC Radio 4, Sundays at 4.30pm, repeated on Saturdays at 11.30pm. Also available on demand on BBC Radio 4 website.

I'll have to go there myself because I missed it this afternoon. My mind was numbed after watching Burnley play Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup. The war at Turf Moor was a no-score bore draw, said Gary Lineker, obviously a poet at heart. Should I go to the replay? That's a difficult decision to make!

Keep Andrew Motion busy- you don't want him writing (or trying to write) poems about the FA cup!
