Christening Poems

Welcome, precious little child
so fresh from God above.
Baptized today in Jesus' name,
held in His arms of love.

May angels guide your tiny feet
and bring you smiles to wear.
And may our Heavenly Father
always keep you in His care.

----------------------------
Lord, bless this tiny infant
Who is brought to You today.
And teach those precious little feet
To follow in Your way.

Lord, bless the baby's parents, too,
And with your loving care
Grant them all the happiness
A family can share

--------------------------
Blessings on the little children,
sweet and fresh from Heaven above.
May their days be filled with beauty,
may they grow in truth and love.

Lord, bless this tiny infant
who will make the world so fair.
Please keep this precious life
forever in Your care.

uNCREDITED, BUT I GUESS THATS OK SINCE NO ONE'S PROFITING FROM THEM

Wow! Johnny, a real honest reply, no smart remarks. Was wincing as I opened it, afraid of what you might say to the innocent.

Talia, I heard one time, can't remember where that no one
is ever "just kidding".

Interesting, Les, I said the other day on another thread, paraphrasing Dylan (Bob not Thomas)
"It's all right Ma, I'm only kidding", but the worms don't go back in the can if you assure them that opening the can was just for kicks and giggles.

I've certainly made my own bed....and I expect the reaction "Gee, he's being nice for a change....WHAT'S HE UP TO?"

"I yam what I yam"
Popeye 1938
