Yes those Whigs are a problem. Course they pay a good share of the taxes even now. John Quincey was an ancestor. But from what I have been able to gather he was more of a Prig than a Whig.

Hey, he predicted the California election! (True, we spell it as Governator, but spellings have changed over the last hundred or so years)
