Meaning of Love

What does love mean to you?

I know that one of the best ways to show love is to put the other person's interests ahead of your own.
Of course, the best example of love is our creator. If we want to learn how to love, we need to constantly try to imitate him.

Right, LON?

"Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for another."

Me likes Jean-Paul. Groovy name. Thought I would throw something in the pot to be stirred!
Love ya!

"Loving people is like farting in the wind; You don't actually accomplish anything, but you feel better."

Welcome back, Angel, I've been wondering where you were.

Time does not bring relief
Edna St Vincent Millay

Time does not bring relief; you all have lied
Who told me time would ease me of my pain!
I miss him in the weeping of the rain;
I want him at the shrinking of the tide;
The old snows melt from every mountain-side,
And last years' leaves are smoke in every lane;
But last years' bitter loving must remain
Heaped on my heart. and my old thoughts abide.
There are a hundred places where I fear
To go, - so with his memory they brim.
And entering with relief some quiet place
Where never fell his foot or shone his face
I say, "there is no memory of him here!"
And so stand stricken, so remembering him.
