I was looking for Charles Causley's poem Betjeman 1984 (Causley having long been a great favourite of mine, who died last week and the poem one I found referred to in an obituary) when google led me to this site:

which I found interesting as well as leading me to the poem I sought. Wondered if anyone knew anything about John Stringer or the site. He seems quite authoritative, but I can't find anything out about him on the site or by googling. However, I'm a lousy websearcher - always find too much so what I want doesn't emerge or nothing and can rarely find anything a second time, even using History.

Yeah, an interesting site, and a new one for me. Bookmarked now.
