i have a question. I am looking for a poem that talks about promises to keep
"Stopping by woods on a snowy evening"
Go to 'Top Poets' (on home page)
go to Frost, scroll down to it.
I know some smarty-pants will cut-paste this any minute now.
(I STILL don't know how!)
Jack, hold the left clicker on your mouse until the words you want to copy turn blue.
Then go up to the top of your browser window and find "Edit". Click on "Copy".
This should make the word "paste" turn blue on the Edit menu.
Then go to an empty box like this one and click on "paste".
the poem is "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening"
the last lines read something like :"These woods are lovely, dark and deep; But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before i sleep, and miles to go before i sleep."
Last words of Dr. Tom Dooley... didja know tha??? No kin to the Confederate dude what stabbed his girlfriend... do gooding doctor who cured a bunch of stuff in Africa in the sixties and seventies until he got something he hadn't cured yet.
As he lay dying he repeated "And I have promises to keepa and miles to go before I sleep..." over and over.
